Joshua Smith

Josh is an accomplished executive in healthcare, infusion advocate, venture capital explorer, meddling golfer, and passionate husband/father who seeks excellence at every corner. He joined Pure Infusion Suites in February of 2020 as the Chief Growth Officer to lead and develop a national brand of ambulatory infusion centers and specialty clinics that are specifically focused on improvements to the cost of care, clinical quality, and patient experience for millions of patients across the country.

As a seeker of new healthcare models and figuring out how to scale them, Josh is focused on the transformative nature of healthcare and continuously ponders on ways to improve the system. His dedication to infusion access spans over 8 years while spending time in pharmacy, specialty physician office leadership, and most recently in ambulatory infusion centers. He is a strong advocate for positive change in the industries that he commits too, and as such he provides additional insights and leadership to the biologic infusion industry through his involvement on the Board of Directors for the National Infusion Center Association (NICA).

Previous to infusion, Josh worked in corporate development for Denver, CO based DaVita Inc. While there he led a national expansion effort for DaVita’s in house pharmacy serving over 2800 clinics and over 400 hospital partnerships nationally. He has been heavily involved in provider-based healthcare capital financing that has included buy and sell side transactions in the following areas: retail and specialty pharmacy, dialysis clinics, oncology centers, and imaging/radiology partnerships.

Josh sharpened is strategy and development skills, while working in capital market finance industry where he generated over $450 Million dollars in a 7 year span while representing companies such as American International Group (AIG), and Transamerica Capital.

As a passionate and focused leader, he “carries” those traits home and to his hobbies. He is happiest with his wife Casey and raising their twin boys, Logan and Dylan, in Lakewood, CO.
